Obviously you want to know what you’re getting for your money. And what advertising with us can do for you.

What exactly am I paying for?

You are paying for a 12 month subscription to be placed on our Holiday Let website. With easy navigation and search booking calendar, property description, auto generated emails to your guests and collection of payments.

What does your system do?

Let me quickly run you through from the begining.

A potential customer visits our site looking for a Holiday at Tattershall Lakes. They have a date in mind, so they search the dates and the number of maximum people the holiday home can take and submit.

This will generate a list of available properties which they can then view and decide which property to book.

Once they have decided and booked the property they will receive an automatic booking confirmation email with all relevant details. If they have only paid a deposit, then they will receive another email when the balance is due. They will also receive an email upon arrival with details on what to do when they arrive at the Park.

You will also receive copies of these emails and you will also have access to the owners back office to see your bookings, change, update or add prices. Book out your own holidays or manually input a booking not from our site.

Reports can be downloaded like total number of bookings, customer list, total revenue etc

Why do you charge a yearly fee?

We charge a yearly fee of £50 to cover the costs of running the website and to set you up on the booking system.

 

How much commission do you charge?

Our commision charge is 15% on all bookings.

When will my property be live on your website?

We will contact you within 24 hours after your enquiry via email to obtain all your details and property information. Once you complete our requests and pay your setup fee you will be live within 7 days. This is due to setting up your pricing structure and fine details

Can I use the booking calendar in my own website?

Sure. Let us know and we’ll supply you with a widget link you can place in your site. Alternatively, if you don’t have your own site we can build you one.

Do I need to keep the prices the same throughout the year?

Not at all. Our booking system will accomodate seasonal pricing, short break prices, long lets and holiday prices.

How many weeks of the year will my property be let?

Your property will stay on our system from day one. Tattershall currently run a 10 or 12 month pitch contract. You let us know which contract you are committed to and what dates you would like to be visible on the booking page.

When can I use my property?

When ever you like. Some owners would like to utilise the time they’re not using the holiday home to bring in revenue to either pay towards pitch fees or just for personal gain. Keep in mind the more you use it, the less you earn. Or alternatively the less you use it, the more you could earn.

Is there a particular type of finance I need if I’m looking to let my property for self-catering purposes?

You have a number of options to finance your holiday home. Away resorts currently offer finance with Black Horse Finance. You could also obtain a personal loan. And then theres Holiday Let’ Mortgages that are available. For this kind of issue we recommend speaking to your financial advisor.

Do I still have to pay business rates if my property is let for under 140 days of the year?

A property is classed as self-catering for the time it is available to let for not the days that it is actually let for. You will still be liable to pay business tax.

I can't praise Tattershall Holiday Lets enough. I was struggling a little with filling bookings and since joining this site I'm pretty much booked up for 2020
