Holiday Makers FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

These are just some of the things that Holiday Makers are wondering about.

When and where can we collect our key?

Most properties have installed a keysafe where you will be messaged with the location of the safe and the keycode before you arrive on park.

Some owners like to do a meet and greet and will hand over the key on when you arrive.

And finally, some owners arrange to leave the key for you to pick up from guest services.

Where do we return the key?

If the property is fitted with a key safe, please make sure the key is securly locked away and the numbers scrambled. Please check it is locked properly before leaving.

If you have had a meet and greet from the owners, they will arrange a time for them to pick up the key from you on park.

If you have collected the key from guest services you will need to drop the key off at the same place.

Is it easy to find the property?

If you are on a key code property you will be emailed with a map to find your property.

If you are having a meet and greet the owners will meet you at either the front entrance or guest services.

If you are collecting the key from guest services you can request a map and directions from them.

What time can we check-in to the property?

For most holiday homes, arrival is from either 3pm, although this will be confirmed in your confirmation letter. Although if it is possible that you can gain access to the property early the owners may contact you on the day to let you know.

What time will we need to leave the property?

Departure by 10am.

Are there any extra costs for electric/gas?

No, all utilities are included.

Can we bring pets?

The park itself is a dog friendly place. We only allow dogs in certain properties. Please check the property description if a dog is allowed.

Charges start from £20 per stay per dog.

Do we need to bring bed linen?

Most holiday homes provide bed linen, but please check in the property description.

Do we need to bring towels?

This will depend on the holiday home. To find out you can view the property description.

Can we smoke in the property?

All of our holiday homes are now non-smoking.

Are cots and high chairs provided?

Please check property description. Some owners include these free of charge and some charge a small rental fee. Please state at time of booking if they are needed.

Why is there a security / damage bond?

It covers the cost to any damaged property, losses or additional cleaning and encourages guests to look after the property.

When will this be returned to me?

We try to refund these within 7 days of your departure after we’ve had the ok from the property owner.

The bond will be held if a property is left in a manner where additional cleaning/losses or damage need to be charged for.

Why is there a £10 booking fee?

It covers all our administration costs when processing your booking.

If I have to cancel my holiday, what are the cancellation fees?

Each holiday home owner have ther own cancellation policy. Please make sure you read the Terms & Conditions on the booking system.

Do I need park passes?

But if you’re wanting to purchase food and drink from any of the bars and restaurants and enter the entertainment suite after 6pm, then yes you will.

Passes can be purchased from guest services and start from £30 per holiday home, not per person.
